Combine Postcard Marketing And Real Estate For a Creative Approach
Are you tapped out when it comes to creative postcard marketing and your real estate business? Whether you've been in the real estate business for awhile or you've just gotten your license, it can be difficult to get the ball rolling as far as creativity and postcard marketing are concerned. Whether it's your first postcard marketing campaign or your hundred and first, we could all use a little inspiration in the area of real estate post card marketing creativity.
In the world of marketing which is, essentially, where you are as a real estate agent there is a little secret of thievery called a 'swipe file.' This is exactly what it sounds like: a file full of ideas that impress you so much that you'd like to swipe them for your very own. Of course, you can't swipe them, not unless you want to face hefty fines, a rainstorm of law suits, and countless other hassles that you don't need. What you can do, however, is swipe the inspiration from the things you put in this file and apply them to postcard marketing and real estate.
What goes in a swipe file? Anything that is advertising related that you like. Did a bit of ad copy really impress you? A certain font of color scheme leap out of a magazine? A picture or landscape or combination of any of the above? All of these can be kept in a file (or manila envelope or shoe box or whatever you prefer) to be kept as a reference the next time you sit down to design your real estate postcard marketing campaign.
